Frequently asked questions

Before you reach out.

Do you offer one-time and ongoing support?

Yes. Engagements range from a single consultation or troubleshooting session to ongoing consulting or fractional project leadership.

Do you work in person?

Most work happens remotely. When an on-site visit would help, we'll plan it together. On-site time is billed at the $65 hourly consulting rate. I work in person from New York City and Westchester up to Albany. Outside the Mid-Hudson Valley, travel time is billed at half rate and expenses such as mileage and lodging at cost, all agreed in writing before booking.

What's included in the Technology Assessment?

Three one-hour sessions, research, and a written, prioritized roadmap, about 10 hours of work.

What does a Business Analysis & Process Review include?

A scoped review, such as one workflow mapped or one set of requirements documented, about 15 hours of work. Larger requests are quoted separately.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on the service, project scope, expected time, and whether travel is needed. Consulting and project support are $65 an hour. Website and technical work is $125 an hour. Fixed packages start at $650 for an Assessment, and website packages start at $1,500. For larger work, costs and expectations are agreed before work begins.

What is fractional project leadership?

A project leader who works inside your team part time, from $650 a month for 10 hours, with a 3-month minimum. 20 hours is $1,200 and 40 hours is $2,200 a month.

Can you work with our current vendors or IT provider?

Yes. I often work alongside existing teams and vendors, and can help you evaluate their proposals.
